If you are interested in using our Contact Centre, you will need to follow the following procedure:
- Step 1 – Initial Contact
Please refer to the Safe Referral letter.
- Step 2 – Referral Acceptance
If the Eastbourne Contact Centre has been your preferred choice for supported contact, the coordinator will receive all the required information and will make contact with you.
- Step 3 – Pre-Visits
The next step, is to arrange for each parent to visit the contact centre. These visits will be arranged at separate times and can take place on the 1st or 3rd Saturday or 1st Monday morning of each month. You will be shown around by one of our staff who will be able to answer any questions you may have about the Centre and how we operate.
- Step 4 – Written confirmation
Once all parties have indicated that they are happy to proceed, the first contact session will be arranged and you will receive written confirmation of the date of the first session.
- Step 5 – Review
Initially, you will be offered 3 sessions. All being well you will be offered a further 9 sessions. After 12 sessions, whether fortnightly or monthly, your circumstances will be taken into consideration and more sessions may be offered, however, we are expecting contact to move back into the community.
